Averting another air tragedy involving the Australian flag carrier, an Air New Zealand plane guided a Qantas Boeing 747 to safety after its weather radar failed. Airline officials say no danger was caused to the 284 passengers on board the jet that remained blissfully unaware of the imminent danger.
