Sound Bytes: Leaders Hail Obama Victory


Barack Obama's extraordinary victory to the White House met with applause from world leaders, they hailed the victory as ‘historical and inspiring,’ in congratulatory statements to Obama, who relentlessly campaigned for the change America needed, to overcome republican John McCain.

Following are statements issued by the leaders:

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
